Katie Boss, MPH
Katie has an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Mount Holyoke College and a Master’s in Public Health from Boston University. Katie manages the healthy eating, active living and healthy housing programs at Healthy Androscoggin. She brings skills in community research, collaborative problem solving, and lead poisoning prevention strategies to her role as Health Promotion Manager. Katie has a particular interest in improving the built environment to support healthy living, as well as investigating the intersections between sustainable agriculture, natural resource protection and public health.
Katie is also the Chair of the Good Food Council of Lewiston-Auburn (GFCLA), an Associate Member of the Auburn Planning Board, and a Board Member of a local community and economic development non-profit called Grow L+A. Katie Lives in Auburn with her husband and two young kids who love to join her in her public health pursuits.
