COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Community Engagement Team at Healthy Androscoggin works with Central Maine Healthcare’s (CMH) three hospitals – Central Maine Medical Center, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital – to improve the health of the communities each hospital serves. We do this by:

  • Participating and facilitating the local and state Maine Shared Community Health Needs Assessment (Maine Shared CHNA) every 3 years

  • Creating and implementing a Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) for all 3 hospitals within the CMH system

  • Work as liaisons to help bridge connections between Bridgton Hospital, Central Maine Medical Center, and Rumford Hospital to the communities they serve
