Administrative Assistant

Most of my experience has been customer service based. I worked as a crew member for Dairy Queen throughout high school, then during college, I worked as a waitress at Margaritas, during school, then during the summer at Jumpin’ Jakes in Old Orchard Beach, and after college, I continued to work in the restaurant industry, as well as animal care industry, a small business and the healthcare industry. Originally, I wanted to work in the Marine Sciences, as it is what I went to college for, but found that I wanted to work in the Healthcare industry.  Now in the process of pursuing a career in the healthcare industry.

I was born in Colorado but lived in Maine, Nevada, Oregon, and then back in Colorado from the years of 2003-2013. I love all animals, always have had pets growing up, mainly dogs, cats and horses, since moving to Maine, I have owned, a few lizards, a snake and a few ferrets, and have plans to own runner ducks, chickens and a couple dogs. I am VERY close to my family, spend a lot of time with family on the east coast and try to visit as much as I can with family on the west coast. I am a HUGE horror movie and book fan, and in my free time I do like to write short horror stories.

I have always had a respect towards those who actively make a difference in the community, I find that making changes big and small, do make an impact. I have struggled to find a purpose in my professional life, so when I saw that there was a position in this organization, I immediately applied, of course, being an admin assistant, I am not directly making those impacts in the community, but I get to be part of an organization that does, and to me it’s a chance to see behind the curtain and watch it all, while having the opportunities to go out and participate.
