SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator

 Becca graduated from Connecticut College in 2011 with a BA in Studio Art. Since then Becca has lived in Boston, Hawaii and Maine pursuing her passion for agriculture, good food and community through work on a small farm, with a non-profit running soccer and nutrition afterschool programs, and in the food distribution sector.

In her role as a SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator, Becca cherishes the opportunity to connect and share her love of food with the Androscoggin County community through cooking and nutrition literacy education. She also is a Master Gardener Volunteer and uses that training to support work with the Androscoggin Gleaners in collaboration with local farms and food access sites, to move toward creating a system where everyone has access to fresh and nutritious food.

Becca is excited to be back in her home state enjoying the mid-coast area near Bowdoin with her partner Chris. She loves to tend her ever-struggling garden, adventure on the coast and in the mountains, play with goats, and of course - cook!
